The Alaska Ski For Women is an annual event to encourage women of all ages and abilities to participate in Nordic skiing events. All proceeds go to AWAIC (Abused Women's Aid in Crisis).

Kick waxing, donated by Toko and Swix, was available in the stadium tents before the Classic event. Many thanks to the volunteers who waxed hundreds of skis.
